Agrid helps people discover market participants and source material. It does not replace technical, electrical, legal, financial, or safety advice.
The service
Agrid provides a searchable information service about South Africa's solar ecosystem, including companies, equipment signals, careers, projects, regulations, opportunities, and source-linked editorial material. Features and coverage may change as records are reviewed and sources are refreshed.
Reliance, accuracy, and endorsement
A listing does not mean Agrid recommends, certifies, or guarantees a company. Verification labels describe the provenance of a record; they are not warranties of workmanship, solvency, licensing, product suitability, or regulatory compliance.
Dates, vacancies, approvals, prices, regulations, and business details can change. Confirm material decisions with the linked primary source, relevant authority, qualified professional, or company itself.
Claims, corrections, and evidence
- You must submit information you reasonably believe is accurate and lawful to share.
- You must have authority to provide any personal information or evidence included.
- Agrid may contact you, request stronger evidence, reject a request, or retain a protected audit event.
- No submission changes a public record until moderation is complete.
Submitting a company claim does not transfer ownership of the underlying public record or give a claimant the right to remove accurate source-backed information. See the privacy notice for handling and retention of submission details.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, evade rate limits, submit fraudulent claims, impersonate another person, introduce malicious content, scrape the service in a way that degrades availability, or republish Agrid branding as if you operate the service.
Ordinary linking, search-engine crawling that respects published controls, and reasonable use of public pages are welcome.
External sites and source material
Agrid links to company websites, registers, publishers, and authorities. Those services control their own content, availability, security, and terms. Agrid summarises or points to source material but does not take responsibility for an external site.
Agrid's original interface, curation, and explanatory text remain protected. Third-party names, marks, and source content remain with their respective owners.
Changes and contact
Agrid may update these terms when the service or contribution workflows change. Material revisions will receive a new effective date.
